HFIR Biology Laboratory
The HFIR User Biology Laboratory is located in the Cold Guide Hall at the High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR). This lab has the ability to be used as a Biological Safety Level 2 (BSL2) lab. This capability is offered to users who need to manipulate or do sample preparation on biological samples of moderate potential hazard to personnel or the environment. Various commonly used consumables and supplies, biosafety hood, and autoclave are available in this laboratory.
